Switching stock shifter?
well I have been looking into replacing my stock gear selector on a auto civic. I don't know much about it but have seen some kits on ebay for around 50 bucks and was wondering If any of you have successfully done this. I would also need a button or be able to depress the **** to be able to go from gear to gear. this is what I was looking at http://i.ebayimg.com/t/BLACK-PEARL-SHIFT-****-ADAPTER-FOR-AUTO-AUTOMATIC-GEAR-SHIFTER-LEVER-C3-/00/s/NjAwWDYwMA==/$(KGrHqN,!oMFBlWKBW,RBQbNujv2t!~~60_3.JPG
If you have an automatic, you don't have a shifter. You have a drive mode selector.
And you don't need a button to go from "gear to gear", as you can't do that with an automatic. Just disable the safety that the button normally operates and be done with it if you really want to replace the selector handle.
