Ive got a digital sci ignition box installed in car. i need to put the digital 6 box in place of the sci. can i just unplug the sci and plug in the digital 6. msd tech says yes but he didnt make me feel to confident

 

From what I understand digital 6 and sci are the same electronics.The sci is just a smaller case.There is no reason I can think of that it wouldn't just plug in.

 

Nope. found out plug was for magnetic trigger. had to wire it up just like we did the sci. there is no plug on the msd box, wires are connected inside the sealed box.i was fooled by the extra wiring and plugs that had came with the digital 6
