? ? ? Sway bar considerations ? ? ?
What is a good sway bar for a 99-00 Civic Si. What is an improvement over the stock setup? Looking at the Comptech Sway/Tie combo. I want a little oversteer but don't want to drift thru every turn. What is recommended for a hack driver such as myself that needs to learn how to drive for real. I.E. not lifting off gas in turns or sudden steering jerks. What you think?

Swaybar is the best bang for your buck if the car is stock. It reduces understeer very dramatically. I have the comptech swaybar/tiebar, koni yellow, and nuespeed sport springs. I can set the car up to understeer, oversteer, or be nuetral. Its all in the tire pressure, and shock settings.
The swaybar would help get you to a more nuetral ride, which, by your description, is what you want.
An "autocross" alignment also helps with handeling and if you need one it shouldn't cost more.
So if i get the sway bar should i get springs first? I just want to play with oversteer and dont' want a deadly rough ride. I.E. Springs. The Si is pretty tight to start with.
