swapping engine! need help!
anybody out there think i could find out if the problem is in the release fork without taking the engine back out? can i just take off the tranny without taking out the engine?
yeah, i called my mechanic he mentioned bleeding the clutch hydraulics. DOH! i can't believe i didn't think of that! anyways that was the problem. of course now i've found a few more things i have to get at the parts shop. but i can actually drive there now so it's not such a big deal. just need a hose for the pcv system and a heater house. the heater hose is patched up kinda ghetto but it doesn't leak anymore at the moment. but the pcv hose is collaping with the vacuum and i still don't really know where the hose is supposed to go after it goes through the im. anyways it's so close to being finished that i'm actually pretty stoked about it again. not sure i'd do it again yet, at least not by my self.
now i'm down to some serious problems i think. when i'm driving the car, everytime i take my foot off of the gas there's this horrible clunking that i can feel in the floor boards. not in the pedals but in the floor, kinda like if you were runnin over a line of bots dots on the highway at a fairly high speed. also i have pretty much zero acceleration- my sister's tempo has more acceleration than my car. could it be because i need to bleed the fuel line or is there something more sinister afoot? i'm soooo close to havin this done please help!
