Default swappin....

Hey guys, i'm a newbie in honda-tech and i'm also a newbie in the wondeful world of imports. i was thinking to swap an engine. i have a few questions for you guys, i would appreciate if i get some replies.

how long does it take to swap a b18c1 into a civic htbck?

does it fit right in or do i have to resize the frame?

and just in case, can i find a civic just for the body wit a mess up engine?

1. A weekend if you have all the necessary tools and correct parts (that never happens though)

2. The B series fits like it was meant to be there, the H series are a bit more trouble but no major structural mods

3. A clean civic with straight sheet metal and a blown motor should cost no more than $2,500 to $3,000. A B18C1 in good shape should cost $3,000 to $3,500 the C5 can cost as much as $5,000 or more.

P.S. and engine swap is refered to as a "hubrid" in Honda talk and questions related to that should really be in the Hybrid forum
