How difficult will the type-s swap be? Is it basically bolt in?

wtf? if you take off the rims and lower the car down far enough the engine will sit on the oil pan, you dissconnect the motor and rais the car up and pull out the motor. This is way easier and could be done by way more people than pulling it out the top.
Makes sense. But you'd need something to life the entire front enough to drag the engine from underneath.
Ah there was a site where they had pics of the K20A3 (Type S) into the new Si HB. hybrid.honda had it I think.

I've removed 2 engines threw the bottom when I didn't have a cherry picker...it can be done easily.

Sure Everyone has a Lift in their House

Most of you are Missing th point.... Honda Put the Same engine in all these cars... NO NEED FOR SWAPS.

Just Build the Dam thing you lazy bastards... LOL
Not really, the engines are different. Even the base rsx and 02 si have a little difference between them, which is the reason for the difference in amount of torque each puts out. Also on the base rsx and 02 si, vtec works w/ only the intake cam.

yep, they're all k-series engines.
Pardon my ignorance, but aren't all of the new Civics (except for the Si) still D-series motors? The only model the K-series motors drop right into are Si's.
