Swaping Guage Clusters?

I have a 96 civic dx with a manual tran, i was wondering since i have no tach, if i could get a guage cluster out of a 96 ex with a tach and swap it out?? will it work or is the ecu going to give me trouble??

so i should be able to take my old guages out and plug the new one out of the ex right in!
