Default Swap Problem

I have a 96 civic ex, im swapping in 97 GSR motor. Crank sensor on my 96 harness is a three wire, on the 97 motor its a 2 wire. I don't want to rewire it back to the ECM is there any easier way to do it. I heard of splicing trick for the JDM motors that don't have CKF, can i do the same thing even thought my motor has one? Any input would be helpfull.

Well i going to try my luck with the splicing trick for the CKF that I found at http://www.ff-squad.com and see how it turns out. What are the promblems I might have if im running a P72 ecu with a single stage manifold. Any input would help.
