STUD removal.....how ?

Default STUD removal.....how ?

The studs on the intake manifold, that connect thr throttle body, (and the ones for the fuel rail, which are much smaller)

How do you remove these? And properly torqe them down? Just when i think i have all the tools......

i tried that but I'm not too comfortable doing it, slight pressure already scratches it.

And isnt there an actual tool when you need to torque them down ?

if the studs are not snapped in half, then its ez to remove and install.

here is what you do, get two nuts that will thread into the stud... screw one in and then screw the other. hold one nut and tighten the other so that both nuts are jamming each other....

to remove turn the inside nut, to install turn the out side nut....

get the picture? too bad if you don't....

best advise dont use the vise grip method......

Same thing. Double nut, and use the nut to torque the stud.
