Stuck Oil Rings vs Worn Oil Rings

Re: Stuck Oil Rings vs Worn Oil Rings
Im having majorly excessive oil consumption on my 91 accord AT (about 1 qt every 200 mi). I am wondering if the MMO or SeaFoam treatment could help my problem.
Also, it seems that one of my cylinders (#3) is dead - its getting fuel and spark, but when I unplugged the spark wire boot from the cylinder while it was running it did nothing (but the other 3 cylinder made the car die when I pulled them out). Telling me that cylinder #3 was dead. Can the MMO or Seafoam treatment help solve this problem?
And can a sticky oil (piston) ring cause this? Or do I need to replace the piston rings?

Re: Stuck Oil Rings vs Worn Oil Rings
I'm soaking the pistons in my thirdgen camaro right now Based off of this thread. I seafoamed her for about 15minutes last nighT, cranked and spat out the foam. This morning I went and bought mmo and put it in two of the cylinders. Its been soaking since noon and its now 4. I plan on letting it soak until midnight but should I just do it now? After I crank it to spit the mmo out can I just Chuck my new plugs in and be ready to go? Or should I crank it , let any extra dry, and then put the plugs in?
