Strange timing problem.....HELP!
first off I just swapped a B16 into a 88 CRX DX, I have already converted to MPFI and traced all the wiring. here's what it's doing........
when trying to time the car with a timing gun I have to completely advance the dizzy and it's barely coming close to the 14 degree mark on the crank pulley. I know about the little paperclip thing you have to use that's on the drivers side and I've tried with it and without it, still not luck.
When trying to drive the car it acts like it's not getting any timing what so ever like as if the Crank angle sensor has gone bad or something. It isn't throwing any codes and idles fine, I've also tried 2 good know ECU's on my car (90 CRX Si, B16 swap)and the dizzy's and they seem to be working fine.
I have also checked cam timing and it was dead on.
Is there something that I missed or overlooke dwhen I had converted to MPFI?
any advise is welcome........Thanx in advance
