I ws driving to school today and I heard what sounded like a metal on meatal pinging noise. This was while I was driving normally or when I was lightly on the gas. I got on it and it seemed to run fine. I changed my drive-axels about a week ago and it ran fine all week until today. It as I was almost there I heard another ping and I heard something bounce of the side of my car. I dontknow wheater I just through a rock out of my tire or what.

I checked my suspension, axels, and exhaust and nothing was loose. I have no clue what it is. I don't think it is the engine running that lean that it could ping like that but I don't know. Any Ideas.

is it possible that it was a loose bolt that came off?? i would double check everything
