I was on the freeway not to long ago and all of a sudeen the car started to make a strange flapping noise from under the hood. I was doing around 70MPH and decided to pull over at a gas station and check things out. The tempurature gauges were reading fine and the car didn't throw a CEL at me, but for some reason it sounded really suspicious. Messing with the throttle, the car made the noise again in the higher RPM range. Anyone have an issue like this?

 

a flapping noise? I guess it could be a splash guard or something that came loose, im not sure how the motor could make that noise, especially connected to reving it.

 

maybe you got a plastic bag stuck underneath your car.

 

if its anywhere else i'd say an object is stuck, but inside your engine it could be bogging. hows the car run. most likely something is just stock somewhere. like i thought my axels were fucked up but it was just a peice of tape on my tire
