stock b16a head with ctr cams
i have a stock b16a with the usual bolt ons and a chipped ecu. i was looking into getting the ctr cams but wondered if the lift and duration of teh cams was so much different that even if using the stock 8200 redline that they might bind the springs or chance the risk of floating a valve or breaking a retainer? i need the engine to last, but i know that the ctr cams are an easy install if i dont ahve to remove the head. thanks

also, does anyone know what i should set the cam gears to? i'm not exactly sure what they are set to now but the engine runs strong with them set the way they are, should i keep them at the same setting or should i change them?

yep and he was running a single valve spring on the intake cam.

Set them at zero. Adjust them at the dyno.

yeah i planned to take them to the dyno, i just didnt know if anyone had experience with them and knew a good cam setting or if anyone knew if the cam settings i have now would work with them, because i have the ignition timing based on the cam timing, if i adjust the cam timing than the ignition timing wouild be off, thats why i was wondering if i kept the cam timing the same if it would hurt anything
