Default CTR Cams

I'm thinking about putting CTR cams into my first gen B16a because I found them for $475. I'm going to keep the stock B16a rev limit for now, is it dangerous to use these cams on a stock valvetrain even if I am using the stock revlimit?

not so much.... no. Everything should be OK for now. At most you'll want to upgrade to twin springs on intake and exhaust, maybe add the LCM while you're at it if you have the $$.

no problem with stock redline whatsoever. When you do go to that (8400rpm?) reldine, at least get springs. I reccomend getting the valvetrain and higher redline because these cams are very peaky, and not worth even $475 if you dont get those few hundred rpms.......

i got mine for 350 good price. its not dangerous if u install it. only if u raise your revlimiter then u need a valvetrain.
