still smokeing !!or will it go away
i just got done building my boy car agian and we put new rings bearings ect. ect . and we stared it and it runs like a champ ... but the thing that worries me is that its still blowin grey smoke , and i though it would stop after 1 day .. but now its day 4 and still smoking .... is it beacuse the rings hasent seat yet ??? and its still in the 1000 breakin mile..
did you check the piston to wall clearance? did you have ring ring gaps? and spaced the ring 180 from each other?
Also if the rings are installed backward this will cause oil to pass the ring and into the chambustion chambler.

during the break in period everything is tight, you shouldnt have any blow by to cause it to smoke.
what type of rebuild did you do? re-ring, or complete?
