You can either be gay and sell it to a person that doesnt know what he's getting into, or tell him what needs to be done to the car and drop the price accordingly or fix it yourself.

What's he selling?

God it's so damn simple to pass the state ref as long as you pay attention and do everything cleanly.

Well, its not my personal vehicle. this guy has a 94 si hatch and he doesnt want to spend the money to bring it back to stock cuz whoever did the swap before also conveerted it to a cable tranny. That was my first suggestion and i mentioned to him that he shouldnt even bother trying to pass it cuz the b16 motor is a first gen motor.Of course,if it was my car,id convert it back.

i would slap in the single cam that it had, and use any cable sohc tranny you can find maybe. otherwise he's screwed unless he has a usdm motor swap in there which i doubt. damn CA ref's.

all he has to do is slap a brand new cat..... they will let you have a JDM engine as long as its newer than the car itself.... do a search.....
