starting problem?
Ever since i swaped my JDM ITR motor into my GSR whenever I put gas in the car it has trouble starting, and then wont idle right, I have to constantly stay on the gas for 2 or 3 minutes before it will run normal, if I dont do this then it stalls out...does anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it?

What year Gsr, because 94-95 gsr (obd1) have a FITV (Fast idle thermal valve) which helps with cold starts. Seeing how your from NOVA and i am too i know its cold. The itr motor is made obd2 and a program in the obd2 ecu controls cold start idles so it doesn't have any use for the FITV, like the 95 and below cars do. So if you did put the itr in a 94-95 gsr then i would suspect that to be the problem, or a sensor malfunction.
I myself don't have the FITV hooked up to my b16 hatch because the itr intake manifold isn't designed for the FITV (which is what i have on my b16). So on cold mornings i have to let my engine warm up alittle more than normal or it will want to stall out. But i just got a 94-95 GSR t/b which has the FITV built onto it instead of built onto the i/m like the older b16s, so my cold starts will improve.
I don't just a thought to consider.
