Default strange fuel problems only after a fillup

strange issue i have!
my car runs fine... even when its really low on gas (walboro 255 and 650 rcs)
as soon as i fill up my gas after driving it with really low gas, the car puts and struggles to stay idle when i start it back up...
is that normal?

i had this problem too. My tuner told me to turn the key on and off a few times before starting up my car after filling up with gas to increase my fuel pressure...i guess when you take the cap off your tank, your fuel pressure is gone. Seems to work for me

Yep, definitely sounds like fuel pressure. You should hear it all escaping when you crack the fuel cap loose.

Disconnect the evap purge solenoid. Should do the trick.

Make sure you have a obd1 though.....otherwise you'll get a cel.
