Default starter...no power?

i went to go replace my starter last night and the new starter had a different flange and i had to find that out the hard way...well anyways i threw teh old starter back in..and it wasnt working..so i had to pop start the car...now today i took out the old starter again..changed flanges ( screws in old one wouldnt come out day b4) and now it seems neither starter is getting power. I regrounded it..nothing...i checked my starter signal fuse...its good...what could it be?

Try Starter relay or ignition switch, use test light and check power at starter during crank, first thing to check is clutch switch if it's a manual tranny
