the car will start and run fine... every once in a while i will get the bouncing idle and then stall.... the car did have bad fuel at one point in time... the ecu is not showing any codes....any ideas????

 

If you are able to while the car is idle surging, open the hood and tap on the iac (or near the iac) with a hammer, see if the idle smooths out. May be an intermittently sticking iac.

ok i did the iac tap. i did a light tap and then i beat the hell out of it. it somewhat stopped surging but it still had a shitty idel....but it tends to almost shut off when i have my head lights on. could the battery have something to do with it or something having to do with the alternator ?
