Default Squeaking Sound when i turn the Wheels

It does it only when I turn the steering wheel, and it sounds even worse when i make a whole turn. It started around 4 days ago. I jacked the car up and took the wheels off and decided to take a look under the car to see where the sound is coming from, while a friend turned the wheel. I have come to the conclusion that the sound is coming from the passenger side boot, from the steering rack (see pic). My qustion is, Can i replace just the boot? Why would it squeak? What else could it be?? Thanks in advance Its a 91 Teg
