spun rod bearing
i have a quick question for you guys. it may be obvious but ive never dealt with a spun bearing. im looking to buy some eagle rods for pretty cheap but the guy says that one has a spun bearing. is the rod okay to use if i just replace the bearing with oversized ones or will it just pose problems in the future? again sorry for the noob question but i just wanna make sure before i drop some money on something that i wont be able to use. thanks
Question if I had a spun bearing in this setup what would be better off... B16 block with ctr pistons in it already, it was a fresh hone, new rings, but I spun a bearing in it and the crank is scared, i only put less then 300 miles on it... what can i do to use this same block and pistons... Parts washer for rings and pistons??? hot tank block then rehone???

i would make sure that their is nothing else severly wrong and just rebuild it..or sell the whole setup and start from scratch...either way your going to put a nice hole in your pocket...good luck
