i just picked up a gsr block but i looked at the manual and i notice my block didnt come with the oil cooler the circle part with two pipes coming out of it b4 the oil filter, what does that do and is that needed, my friend said he never seen it on his block idk, help out

and if its required is ther a aftermarket one or something in the place of that

 

Some have it, some dont. It's not neccessary, but cooler oil is always good.

 

Only the 94-95 B18C1s came with the cooler.
