Default sporadic vtec engagement

ok, i did a b16 swap on my 97 EK hatch, car runs fine idles like **** but thats another post. the vtec works well pulls pretty well too, but it seems after about 20-30 mins no vtec, i was thinking the solenoid is the problem but that's just a guess. Any input would be appreciated. thanks in advance,

Check your oil pressure too, it may be dropping as it gets warmed up.

it's more than likely something with your oil if it's fading when warm. my problem was the oil pan was dented, didn't lool like it but it was. start with checking your oil pressure first.
