Default Spoon B16B stroker kit into a B16A?

I'm interested in stroking my B16A to a 1.8L using the Spoon Sports stroker kit. My question is... will this kit that is intended for a B16B fit perfectly into a B16A? I have researched the differences between B16A and B motors and apparently the only things that change are valvetrain, cams, pistons, P&P head and Intake manifold/throttle. Has anyone ever tried this conversion yet?

not only is the B16 deck height (7mm) shorter than a B16B/P72 block, B18C rods are too long (1) so you wouldn't be able to use the stroker kit rods at all; you'd have to get custom rods made for sure. (2) The crank journals on a B18C crank are not as wide as that of a B16's crank journals; you'd have to get machine work to fix that. (3) Your rod ratio will be on the crappy side, if you didn't know. (4) You're a lucky (rich) man if you can still find a Spoon 1.8L B16B stroker kit (they discontinued them a while ago).
