I have a 93 si, still sohc'n. Does anyone know what the speed limiter is set at? I cant afford another ticket, so I figured this would be the next best way to find out.

I know my 94 civic dx shuts off at 120. Is that cause it was made in canada?

Yup Yup, Kamin is right.... 117mph
EDIT: Even tho it's made in Canada it's still a USDM model if made for us... I don't know why there would be a limiter (and I have never seen one) You sure you aren't just getting limited by drag??? Latez

 

yeah, my 96 isnt speed limited, only rev limited. so bingin' the rev limiter in 5th gear would be top speed, not cause the computer shuts it down, but cause u got now where else to go, at least with that tranny/computer. dont know official figures tho on top speed

 

my jdm itr one cut out at 120. it sux when your racing on the freeway. you just cant win
