Default spark plug hole stripped?

alright i just got this motor built and i just finished dropping it in yesterday and i went to put the spark plug wires in and the 2 in the middle seemed to sit higher the piston 1 and 4.? Would the hole inside be stripped? I tighten them as hard as i could and then untighten them and checked for shavenings and there was none? Could i just turn the car on with them 2 higher??? Its a b20b block with ls head.

make sure the washer on the plugs threaded side isn't sitting crooked, if it is, it will feel like the SP is all the way down but it actually isn't.. don't over torque the SP's either. you really don't wanna strip the head...

I did the same thing a long while back and instead of stripping the head, my threads broke off the spark plug and were lodged inside the head, luckily i just used a long flat head screw driver and was able to spint it out... lucky me
