Spark Plug #1 Leaner Than The Rest?
Is this common? Even after my dyno time with a little richer than should be A/F mixture I still notice when I check the plugs #1 is a lighter more white/black color than the rest. 2-4 is usually a nicer blackish brown. Is #1 where when the car is turned off the cylinder that stops receiving fuel first?
sounds like you may have an injector slightly clogged. I would have them flow tested and recalibrated. Or you can dump a crap load of injector cleaner and see if that helps

this has happend to me also ..and it turned out to be the injector...be carefull using too much injector cleaner too often will ruin "factory" injectors..i learned the hard way
Hrm. Is there anyway I can test this in the motor? I did run injector cleaner on my first tank when these 450's were installed. And also checked them and they all looked to be in great shape. Actually came from a friends talon that swapped them out for more boost.
it also seems like cyl 4 is richer than 3.. 3 richer than 2.. 1 = leanest.. by the color of the plugs. 4 is always darker and it goes down the line. Could this be because of the screwey endyn fuel pressure relief mod I did? My fuel pressure is like 38 at idle with vac line on. I have a aem fpr to put on so I guess I'll see if it helps at all.
I had this exact problem just recenly. My H22 feeds the fuel from cylinder #1 and #4 seems to be running leaner than the other cylinders.
I took off the fuel rail and checked the injectors, and there was a butt load of build up on all of them (particularly #4 injector).
I cleaned everything including the ports where the injectors go in, and I am still checking to see if this fixed the problem -- also I ran fuel injector cleaner (not that it really works much), but nonetheless hopefully fixed the problem.
Try it out and see what happens.

Try swapping #1 and #2 injectors to see if the problem changes cylinders.
