well i just put a new radiator on my 94 lude and then 2 days later my car starts to bog out alot when im driving and it sounded like a misfire but i have no clue. i also have a vafc2. my neighbor told me that i should try and unhook my battery to see if it was juss my computer or something like that. i did and it got like worse i think it fucked up my vafc2 cuz now on my vafc2 it says im idealing at 1200 but on my tach it says 3000 so idn wat the deal is. then today it started working better but wen i hit vtec its so until it hits like 5000 then goes great. also wen it warms up it wont idel it will just shut off.. what the expletive is wrong with this thing my car is also running very rich. can somone help me

 

First thing I would recommend is to remove the V-AFC2 or put the jumper in and start with the basics. The V-AFC manual has instructions on how to "jump" the V-AFC so it isn't messin with the fuel/timing charts. You can also search online for it.

You probably have things set on your V-AFC that is crapping the engine out. Once you do that, check the distributor cap/rotor, spark plug wires and plugs. Then go from there.
