ok heres the thing im only 14 but want to know this stuff, so does anyone want to take the time and explain to me the obd **** is. i sort of know but have been seeing in threads alot of stuff about it so would like to know, so some plz explain it to me lol ok?

On Board Diagnostics (obd)

88-91=obd0
92-95=obd1
96-00=obd2 obd2b (you'll have to have someone else varify the split. I don't ever deal w/ obd2)

This is basically an easy way of diagnosing (electrically read) problems w/ your car. The obd0 hondas utilize a light on the ECU. You simply count the number of flashes and cross reference. The obd1 can be jumped to make the CEL flash. The obd2 is easiest to hook a scanner up to and read the problems from there. Hope this helps
