pay no attention to these pics ..showing somebody something

"I'm ready,I'm ready,I'm ready"

8" is the max

remember to use a Tial 4 bolt flange

don't worry about the dipstick, its located against on timing belt cover on a Y8

My friend bought a 88 CRX Si a couple of weeks ago and while I was looking at it yesterday I noticed that the block says D15B. I did some search and it is between a JDM D15B or a Civic DX.
ALso the stamped code on the head is PM3-3.

Any ideas which block and head they are from?

thanks

its a DX or LX D15B2,if it was the JDM motor it would have two vtec solenoids on the head because it has a 3 stage vtec setup.

hey d-man- im interested in the jdm d15b- if i wanted to run the 3 stage vtec on one, id need the ecu that came with the motor from japan right? any idea what the code (model#) is for that ecu or who sells them? let me add my appreciation to the rest of the posts as to your write up.

Sorry I dont know that one,I tried looking for specs for the 4 speed but nobody seems to know them.I think the final drive in that tranny is 2.95?....I let you know if I find them.

btw...why you want to know that?
