Default sohc louder then dohc?

I have noticed that s sohc is louder then a dohc. whats the deal with that? I am sorry for the stupid post but if i didnt ask i would never understand why it is louder. Thanks

in general, engine nosie alone is higher from the SOHC. It is not made to be twisted up to high rpms. It sounds ROUGH.

Now a GSR at 8k, sounds pretty damn nice.
Sewing machine smooth.

Still not going DOHC though.
