SOHC internals. best?

I'm uppin my compression but not sure how much.... I have a stock d16y7 and want new pistons, rods and cams.... did alot of searching but not alot for my engine... where can i get a good deal>? i.e JE, arias, crower, crane......ect

Was thinking, Je pistons... not sure the compression ratio.... 10-11.. eagle h beam rods, and a crane cam.. and gear... what you think... for starters?

sup man? if you just want to bump it up. a honda has a 3 layer head gasket. take one of the layers off it will bump up the compression. not sure how much but its a proven tip.

Unless you are goin to boost, use the A6 pistons on your motor and call it good to go. If you are trying to get a N/A set up on the d16y7, it is going to cost you an arm and a leg. Save for boost! do not get JE pistons, and there is no need for the eagle rods, unless you are waning to waste your money. You can build a cheap turbo kit for the price of rebuilding your engine.
