Skunk2 Throttlebody
i have a skunk2 throttlebody 68mm brand new from my friend. i put it on my car.. and when i started the car...the idle is hella low (750rpm) and once the car gets hot the idle goes up.. is this normal??
750 rpm when idling is normal you might have something else going on cuz i know mine juumps up when the car is warm but i have a vacuum leak have you tried adjusting you IACV not to sure if that could be the problem i would take it to a shop if your worried about it but i dont think you should 750 is norman range for idling

at first it got stuck.. so what i did was polish the throttlebody wit mothers.. and it didnt get stuck... but yeah my idle was so low and usually my cold start idle is high and once its warm it goes down.. but this time its low.. i even tried messing with the idle but still low and i also adjust the gold screw but still the same.. i think its normal... o well...
what yall think>??

from what ive been through with it, that seems to be the normal idle, at first, when the car is warming up with the iacv, it was around 1500 and then when it was warm, it dropped, i tried adjusting the idle screw but didnt change much so i decided to just tighten the throttle cable until the idle i wanted

yea when my motor is cold it idles real low for a few seconds or so its normal as i know i dont think its nothing to worry about right when you start it up it idles real low for a few secinds then it jumps up in the RPM right more of an high idle then it evens out when the motor is warmed up? it should be nothing to worry about
