I got my intake installed. I had to grind down some of the bottom of the manifold because it hits on the alternator braket and the thermostat housing. The hoses that were on the Fast idle control i just joined those together or you can cap them off. Now my idle is high so i have to adjust it and my Cold air intake no longer fits.

So you just scrapped the FITV altogether? wouldn't that make your idle low? I'm trying to figure out what parts I need, I may be doing this install thi weekend. Please let me know what extra parts you needed to buy and what little modifications you needed to make.

Well I got a new Throttle body so it doesnt have it so its gone. I have not adjusted my idle so I dont know if it will idle well. I hope so. The ITR cable did not work for me I had a 92 GSR cable on it and that worked fine. I got an AEM fuel rail. Other than the grinding i had to do to it the install was very easy.

did you already have the b16 in before the IM upgrade? I think we used a 90-93 teg throttle cable for the b16, I'm wondering if it will work on the skunk2 IM. I have a gsr fuel rail if need be. Which throttlebody are you using now? I was thinking of picking up a gsr TB to retain my FITV. I'm wondering if my TPS can swap over though.

I got a 66 MM from JDM hondaparts. I used the TPS from my old ZC motor. Right now it is idling at about 1500 I have yet to play with the idle screw and the TPS sensor. Ill post some pics as soon as im done. I drove it yesterday and I can feel a big diffrence in throttle response but I didnt run it pasts like 4000 RPM. Yeah my old throttle cable worked I had bought the ITR braket and cable and only used the bracket. If you need the cable I can sell it to you for like 20 bucks

Coool, I'm thinking I wont have any problems swapping my TPS over then. I'm gonna try and mod the bracket and use my existing cable too. Thanks for the help, I'd like to see your pics. I'm gonna try and get to mine this weekend.

Well I got it to idle ok now and took it to for a test drive. I did lose some low end but I gotta say after about 5500 rpm it pulls like crazy. Touchy throttle it actually died on me trying to take off from a stop.

for warmer weather areas like ca, its okay to bypass the fast idle thermo vavle. all it does is run coolant through your tb to keep it from sticking in cold weather
