Default Skunk2 ECU hookup

I just got my OBD I ECU with the Skunk2 chip installed. I have the conversion harness as well, so I should be good to go..To hook this up, do I just need to plug and play? I have the thing tuned with the VAFC and I don't want to run lean and hurt the motor..I'm getting a clutch and flywheel installed, and getting it dynoed in a week..Should I just wait, or is safe to do now?

Thanks

The install is plug and play.

If I was you, I would hook up the VAFC and get the clutch/flywheel installed and go to the dyno to tune it.
