Default simple engine break in questions

i recently rebuilt my b18c1 on my teg and will be going back in the car in a few days. motor is all stock honda parts other than arp harware, hasting rings and acl bearings.

i did my research on break in and found the mototune web site very helpful and along with reading some different polls found that most people prefer the "Hard Break in" procedure.

the website tough becuase it was based around motorcycles left me a bit confused on some parts.

what is acctually a step by step proper "hard" break in method?
including oil change intervals, hard pull and deceleration method and gear choice?

next autox event is oct 14 and i really hope to have it all broken in by then...

thanks

i personally never "break in" a motor. no 500 or 1000 miles crap. start the motor. let it run for an hour or so. drain and change oil and filter. then go dyno.....

stock engine rebuild using stock ecu .... no need for a dyno

there are various schools of thought, its your choice what you want to belong to.

hard break in procedure (hard on the gas,let it cool repetition) to fully seats valves, rings, seals, etc

and then there low rpm variation not going hard on the motor. many people will argue this all day.

ok i think you guys are missing my point im not hear to argue which break in is better....

but whats a more detailed procedure for mototune break in process.

i starchland mention hard on the gas the let it cool can someone explain that?

like how far do i rev and in what gear before letting the engine slow it self down?
