Default SI isn't performing as good as it should!

whats up guys, just had a question to throw out at u guys to see if any of you would know what the deal is with my damn car. I have a 00 Civic SI and i have the basic bolt ons, DC short ram intake, DC 4-2-1 ceramic header, apex n1 exhaust, and skunk2 intake manifold.

Now for the problem....

for some reason my friends 00 SI which only has some ghetto intake, DC 4-1 header, apex exhaust, and test pipe tends to always beat my car by 1/2 a car or even a full car at times when pushing both cars. I say its his 4-1 header and test pipe. But i thought maybe since i have the manifold over him, i should be beating him. But at the same time i have a worn down clutch that still works fine, but its not "new." I figured maybe sometime was going on with my car, or maybe the outcome is what it should be. I just want to get some opinions on some things i can do rather then BOOSTING my car to gain more power with what i have done to the car. I'm considering on having it tuned to just those bolt ons cause i heard it'll give me maybe 15-20whp. but thats what i hear.

EDITED: my car also has like LOW 20k on the motor compared to my friends SI who has like 60-70k.

his motor is broken in, plus 4-1 which gives more topend. the driver is a big factor when racing similar cars
