Default should I keep the gsr or get a h22

like the topic says I have a 97 gsr(which is running strong) but I want more power for cheaper than turbo and without making my car street illegal
I was thinking about a prelude swap and get if ref'd (I am not sure if h22 in a teg can be refreed). I want to get in to 13's without loosing reliablity and streetabilty.
my question is, Is it worth it to do the swap or is it easier to put some more money in my gsr (what mods can I do to the gsr to get it into low 14's or high 13's without loosing reliability)

It would be a lot easier to get your GSR into the 13's than you think. If I were you, I'd start with a JDM ITR tranny, a good clutch and a lightweight flywheel.

I like the idea of the H22A in a DC. I've only seen one or two tegs with this done. IMO it would be more benefical to do this as any expense incurred in buying H-swap components can be almost totally regained by selling your B18C1. With that said go for it. It's a cake swap. If you don't feel confident doing it yourself, contact Jeff Sloan at Hybrid Automotive he's an H-swap guru and a really good guy (known him through Hybrid for years ).

Edit markup giving me problems, all is well now

p&p the head/IM and get the head milled a little to bump your CR, cams and valve springs that should give you what your looking for
Do what you want it's you money and this is my .02

my whole reasoning for the h22 swap was, it was going to be almost free. after I sell my gsr motor and I am goin to get better than type r times without breaking bank or loosing reliability
