Default short shifters

who makes "the Best" short shifter.

a while back I got a free STR short shifter from a friend who used to work there. About 6 or 7 months later, the damn thing broke, the very bottom piece that hooks up to the shift linkage (correct me if I'm mistaken, I don't know a whole lot about these things). That piece that the bolt goes through just cracked.

Anyways who makes a quality short shifter?

Thanks

C's is japan made, they cost 300.00 kind of high priced but nobody has anything bad to say about them. you can get them at http://www.godspeed.hack.net

Yeah, I have a B&M pro edge? It's a strait (spelling) stainless piece with three settings. I use the middle one and have no buzzing. Paid 100 shipped using a coupon from importhookup.com. HTH
