short shifter?

do i need to lube anything up b4 i install my short shifter?

Not really, but it wouldn't hurt to lube up the section of the shifter that looks like a ball.

use high-temp or high pressure grease or white lithium grease

around the ball and inside the boot where the plastic seat slides on the ball.
