grease... what kind do i need?

grease... what kind do i need?
i went to autozone the other day and was looking for some grease for my shifter install. they don't have any grease? is there an all purpose grease i can find somewhere?

i use mobile synthetic grease becasue it has a much higher melting point. This stuff is great for high heat areas. It would work well with the shifter but white lithium grease works well too thats what i used on my skunk 2 short shifter.
