Default short shifter

Ok, is it true that using one of these can damage syncros? i heard this somwhere im just trying to figure out if its true. also any recomendations on what short shifters to use would be helpful (i have a 94ex w/ b16a2)

Ive heard the same thing, and it sound correct. All a short shifter does is move the pivot, which shortens the throw, but it also makes the syncros work faster. This accelerates wear, but im not sure how much. I dont even know if its enough to worry about. Just my $.02

i've heard about this too, but i've been using a short shifter (neuspeed) on mine, so far after about 90k miles on it i don't have a problem with my tranny whatsoever.
if i'm going to get the short shifter now, i would get the skunk2.
