Default Short Clutch?

I drove my friends Supra and I really like their clutch, only need a little step back and forth. Unlike the integra's, huge steps are involved. In the Supra, I could shift gears soooo quick! Is there a way I could shorten up the distance on my clutch for my integra?

if you ahe a cable clutch you can ajust it just by the clutch cable. the adjuster for the cable is inbetween the block and the passengers side fire wall.

I could be wrong, but i believe supra's come stock with a double plate clutch, where yours is only a single plate.
that is probably what you are noticing.

With your clutch you shouldn't have to push the clutch down very far at all. Remember you don't have to put it to the floor to shift. In my 99civic EX I just barely tap my clutch. Just be ready for a rough ride until you and your clutch get used to it.

Double and triple plate clutches however make a huge difference. The first time
I drove my friends Eclipse GT, I fell in love with the clutch. I was convinced that I
could have drove that car perfectly even if I had never driven a stick before.
I plan on putting one in as soon as I have the guts to rip out my engine.
SIDE MOUNTED TRANSMISSIONS SUCK! I'm replacing and engine on my friends
civic right now and it's a pain to get the transmission aligned.

SO, I should consider into a double plate clutch? What are some good ones? Are there any downsides to them? I only have I/H/E.

When they refer to Hydro and Cable Transmissions. They are refering to the way the clutch is activated either by cable or hydralic cylinder. The transmissions themselves aren't all that internally different. The clutch on your GSR is hydraulically activated.

As far as shortening the throw on your clutch there really really isn't a simple way to shorten up it up. You might want to consider a short throw shifter that will speed up your shifting or just practice clutching more. A double or triple plate clutch shouldn't affect shift speed. Primarily double and triple disc clutches are used when there are issues of torque and power transfer, but that is an entirely different discussion. I hope this clears things up a little.
