A tuner friend of mine suggested that I make a base map for my turbo setup with the vtec turned off. Basically make the fuel & timing maps on the low cam. Once I get to the correct afr's and timing numbers without knock. Then use the vtec drop down menu, set when vtec comes on and use the add % to fuel & timing to adjust the maps under vtec.
is this the best way to go?
