Default How far should msd be from ecu?

I was just wondering if the msd units such as the 6btm give off interference such as EMI and RFI that will affect my ecu and how far i should have it mounted from the ecu.

Mine is mounted on a sheet metal plate on the left side of the passenger floor board, along w/other electronics. So far so good.

You may want to shield the coil wires as the regular 400 volt jolts to the coil could interfere with other signals. For this purpose, a $10 stainless braided dishwasher hose works great. Just don't forget to ground the shielding.
