Default Setting Timing. Need Help ASAP!!

ok everyone ive got a problem and anyone who can help out please please do so. Ok so my friend blew the motor on his 97 prelude h22a4 i believe. we bought the new motor and installed it and of course forgot to put the timing belt on while it was out of the car. We are having a serious problem setting the timing and getting the belt on. To start we found one line on the crank pulley we assume is the timing notch but cant find anything on the plastic cover that even resembles a timing mark. weve tried everything possible to get the belt up over the cam gears and were having no luck. if anyone could list the process from step one of setting it to tdc and finishing with the belt on properly timed would be awesome. or any advice you can shoot my way id appreciate. thankls

ya theres no need to correct you on that. i just found out the notch is on the block instead of the plastic. I swear my teg is so much easier when it comes to this crap. but hey thanks for the reply. i appreciate it. you wouldnt happen to know how i would go about getting the belt to loosen up enough to get it onto the gears would you. the tensioner isnt seeming to be doing much. thanx
