Default Serious Lsvtec Problems help me people

I have already made a post before and didnt get to much of a response. I am running an lsvtec setup in my 99 civic hatch. i have a 94 block with 00 gsr head, obd2b-obd1 harness and am now running a p28. i keep having this problem when accelerate where at certain RPMs the car will bog for a sec, really quik then keeps going, or it will act like it is hitting some kind of rev limiter at 4000rpms this never happened with my ls ecu running it until today so it seems like its defently something with my motor because i had first thought it may have been an ECU problem. it will also cut completly out if i take it up to like 7k it will not let me rev anymore until it drops below 4k then will do that rev limiter at 4k again. IF anyone has ever had this problem and can tell me why the hell its doing this it would be great if you have any question about what im talking about lol just pm me or just add a reply and iw ill do my best to explain it better. Also the car seems slower now with the lsvtec setup than it was with my stock ls in it.

Does your check engine light even work ?
Are you throwing any codes ?
When was the last time you changed your cap & rotor ?
What fuel pump are you running ?
Are you running a fuel pressure regulator & guage ?
Do you have any local tuners who can look at the vehicle using a wideband to determin if you have a fuel delivery issue etc...

whats your timing like?
a bad dizzy would most likely create that whole 2 rev limit crap without a cel.

Not to get you nervous but I had that problem in my civic alittle while ago and then the motor ended up blowing which didnt matter b/c i was planing on doing a swap ne ways but i took it to a shop b/c i couldnt figure it out and one problem it could be is a bad head gasket but i doubt that since im sure you put a new one on when you did the swap. Another thing it could be and this happen to me is that your might not be getting the right amount of fuel and air at some points which is causing the car to bog down. My intake ended up getting smashed in some how so i wasnt getting enough air and when i floored it the car would struggle to get enough air and would end up boging down and then eventually go again. It coudl also be a problem in your fuel system.

yes i think it has something to do with the air fuel mixture. but i also think it could be a few other things like the main relay. i also think that it could be the gsr intake manifold with the butterflies and how i just directly have them hooked up to a vacuum source to keep them constenly open. im in oregon for the next week and dont really know where to take it other than maybe tourqe freaks but i dont know if they deal with diagnostics. thanks people keep givin me ideas.
