****, might as well drive an automatic
You gots to learn how to row in your civic! It is a good, no non-sense, short, accurate throw. It beats the **** out of gear boxes on Germany cars... in fact, Honda makes one of the best gear boxes.

WOW! saw the price, it scared me!
it looks pretty good, but TOOO expensive

Sounds really interesting. Would be really crazy with a hydraulically operated clutch and a hondata to do full throttle, auto-clutch shifts.

Yeah it would be very odd to have a sequential tranny, yet still have to operate the clutch by foot.
Lol... the cost... last time I saw a sequential transmission for sale it cost over $10K. This one is peanuts by comparison!

Honda was working with a system that utilizes the standard style manual gearbox with a clutch that would be controlled by a seperate computer. Then when you wanted to shift, you press a button usually located on the top of the shifter (actuatiing the clutch) and pound the next gear. I saw this someplace (internet/mag article). I don't remember which. they were using it in a DC5 concept in Japan.
I don't remember if the shifter was a seq type shifter or standard.

This appears to be a sequential-pattern linkage for the standard syncromesh Honda gearbox... it's not a sequential tranny like WRC cars or motorcycles have. The only things I could see this doing aside from quicker shifts is wearing out the syncros that much faster. Oh, and lightening the wallet
I'd rather get a real 6 or 7 speed sequential box, but have no idea how to cram one into a Civic
